Businesses applying for funding
No. With us, they find you! It’s a bit like a dating platform, only here companies with financing requirements are matched with lenders. At first, lenders see all the submitted financing projects anonymised and filtered according to their individual criteria. They then indicate interest in suitable financing projects. All the data is disclosed after accepting a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). The two parties are then in direct contact and can hold detailed talks.
No, Finpoint itself does not underwrite any transactions or lend any money.
Finpoint Limited provides an intermediary service that matches SMEs funding criteria with lenders online. This process saves businesses and their advisors time by sourcing competitive debt and equity finance solutions in minutes.
You can send an email within the platform to your accountant or any other type of advisor.
Once your advisor receives the email from Finpoint, they are directed to register online and are then able to see the data you have entered. After successful registration, advisors have access to your project data and can create, edit and publish.

No, we do not lend money ourselves. We work as ‘aggregator’ of banks and alternative business funding providers. As such, we do not fund projects but instead work to understand your requirements and to best match these with the most relevant funding options available for each business.
Our online platform helps you to create a finance project in minutes. It is free to use the platform, and if you follow the guidance we provide you increase your chances of getting funding. This is because the platform contains our knowledge of what type of data our lenders need to make a quick in-principle decision.
Lastly, it is worth pointing out that our platform anonymises all your data until you allow a lender access to your details. This additional protection, before a funder can contact you directly or see your financing project in full, is our way to ensure you are in control of the process and have a clear understanding of the data you need to provide to funders.
Your data is only ever stored centrally on the Finpoint platform and processed in accordance with our Terms of Use and Data Protection notice. Our overriding principle to handling your data is to respect anonymity, with maximum data security and data storage.
The operator of the platform is Finpoint Limited, a UK-based firm that is accredited by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA firm reference number (FRN) 727163) and the Information Commissioniers Office (ICO registration number ZA111677).
Since any type and size of business can post a finance request on the Finpoint platform, we see a wide variety of amounts being requested which makes it difficult to give out meaningful data about ‘averages’.
Also, since each business is unique, we are conscious of not wanting to discourage other businesses from posting their own specific finance requirements. To get help from our finance experts on how to apply, please visit the contact page.
